This is a series of compositions for the contemporary dance work by Gogi Dance Collective, entitled 'SIREN'. It was premiered in Perth, Western Australia on February 11th, 2022 after over a year of development and COVID cancellations. It is a call to action about plastic waste in the oceans, and its effect on the wildlife that inhabit it. A rich source of material to draw from when composing.

It was mixed, mastered and generally improved by Rodrigo Kendrick, who shares writing credit for Sun Sparkles (track 3) and contributed his beautiful flavour across many of the other lines of music through out the pieces. This is in essence a collaboration with him.

The show was devised by Talitha Maslin and Ashleigh White with Gogi Dance Collective, presented in partnership with City Of Stirling, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, as well as a host of other contributors.
The costumes were made by Kristie Rowe and Mimi Dennett from recycled materials.

Thank you so much to Rodrigo Kendrick for this superb collaboration, as well as mixing and mastering this album. It would not sound this good without his incredible orchestral composition skill and trained ear.

I feel like I sketched the songs, beautiful in their own right, but then Rodrigo coloured and deepened the works with brushstrokes of mastery. I am so grateful to work with him and look forward to many collaborations in the future.
